During the second quarter of 2024, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps in Slovakia showed diverse performance trends in terms of downloads and weekly active users, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at how each app fared:

Bolt: Request a Ride saw a consistent increase in downloads, starting at around 4.2K in early April and rising sharply to nearly 7K by the end of June. Weekly active users also showed a steady climb from approximately 66.5K at the beginning of the quarter to about 75K by the end.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a gradual increase in downloads, beginning with roughly 1K in the first week of April and reaching around 1.6K by late June. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly but generally trending upwards from around 60.5K to 65K over the quarter.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus had a more modest performance in terms of downloads, starting with about 843 in early April and ending with approximately 839 in the last week of June. The weekly active user count showed minor fluctuations, with numbers moving from around 3.7K to 3.4K throughout the quarter.

Careem – rides, food & more experienced a declining trend in downloads, beginning at 229 in the first week of April and dropping significantly to just 48 by the end of June. Weekly active users mirrored this downward trend, starting with around 578 and decreasing to about 353 over the same period.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver had relatively stable downloads, with minor fluctuations ranging from 108 to 219 throughout the quarter. The weekly active user count showed a slight increase, starting at 711 at the beginning of April and reaching approximately 671 by the end of June.
